Exploration - Acceptance - Connection

Do you long for a relationship with yourself that is based in belonging, trust and respect? Sometimes we need support in untangling things and in reconnecting with ourselves. Therapy is a brave space, where you have the opportunity to explore the parts of yourself that feel difficult, broken, overwhelming or confusing. It is a space and relationship where you can bring all of you, unfiltered, messy and complex, so that you can have room to be. And then go from there.

I like to think of the therapy process as a string of lights, where each of the little lights comes on over time. These seemingly insignificant little bulbs may feel small and frustrating at the time, because of the desire for that big fix. And as you work through the process, you’ll be able to connect to the lights twinkling behind you, building up in strength around you and illuminating the paths in front. Maybe at some point you connect with the idea that you are the source of that power.

My work is rooted in a Humanistic and Person-Centred approach, where acceptance and change can happen within the right conditions, that honour and support you. Therapy is one way in life to explore your sense of self with those conditions.

I have experience and an interest in co-creating spaces where you can explore your relationship with food, body, health, relationships or identity work. My practice is grounded in the values of body autonomy & liberation, non-diet approach, weight inclusivity, neuro-affirming and that ultimately you are the expert of you.

In my own life I love finding comfort in the small, everyday routines and pleasures, alongside my ever changing interests. I like having some form of creative outlet and recognise my eagerness for wonder and adventure, with an equal, if not bigger measure of doing absolutely nothing with a cuppa.
